The Home of Hope is an orphanage in Bangladesh that provides a home for children without parents or children whose guardian can no longer care for them. Most of our children come from villages where trafficking of children is a temptation, including areas unreached and inaccessible to foreigners. From situations that are considered hopeless, the Home of Hope offers hope and a path to a future. In 1990, when a poverty-stricken father, whose wife had just died giving birth, asked us to take his newborn baby so he could continue to make a living for his other two toddlers, we vowed to God that when He opened the door we would make it possible to help the homeless, unwanted or orphaned children of Bangladesh. In a short time, God provided the funds and a small, two-room facility, and in 1991 our first 16 children were rescued and began the path to hope. Since then, we’ve taken in more than 300 children from homeless and hopeless situations. But our goal is not simply to rescue. We provide a beautiful home, Godly mentors, nutrition and medical aid, a full English education, life skills and, most importantly, an environment where they can know and grow in God. Currently, we have over 100 children. Sponsoring a child through Hope Generation lets you be a part of raising up this generation.
Founded in 2003 by Francis and Nayomi Kisor, Bijoy Ministries began with a heartfelt mission to support children in desperate need. As co-founding directors and licensed pastoral credential holders with over 20 years of full-time ministry experience, Francis and Nayomi were moved to act after witnessing children scavenging for food near their home. What started as a Christmas rally (Aji Sedin) for destitute children has grown into the city’s largest children’s program—the Happy Birds Assembly (Sukhi Pakhideer Asor) in Mirpur, Dhaka. This initiative provides non-formal education, moral values, character-building activities, and fellowship for children in need. Over the years, Bijoy Ministries has expanded its vision to reach unreached neighboring communities across Bangladesh. Through weekly Projonmo clubs, educational support, and other impactful programs, the organization engages children and teens in meaningful and transformative ways in collaboration with local churches. Bijoy Ministries also equips leaders and parents with culturally and contextually relevant tools to empower today’s generation to live out and share the love and hope of Jesus Christ. Thank you for your prayers and partnership in transforming the lives of children and communities throughout Bangladesh.

To generally promote the moral, spiritual, intellectual, social and physical interest of the poorest of the poor- the hungry, the thirsty, the naked, the homeless, the ignorant, the crippled,
the leprosy patients, the alcoholics, the sick and dying destitute, the unloved, the abandoned, the outcast, all those are a burden to human society, who have lost all hope and faith in life, who are left alone to suffer and die.
To gather in our homes the lame, the blind, the crippled, the incurables – any person who is abandoned by all left along to suffer and die.
